SEP 2024 Field Supervision

Head of BPS Aceh, Ahmadriswan Nasution, accompanied by Young Expert Statistician, Hendra Gunawan, and the team carried out field data collection supervision for the 2024 Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) in Arongan Lambalek District, West Aceh Regency.

During his two-day visit, June 11-12, 2024, Ahmadriswan took the time to visit the BPS district/city offices in the Southwest (Barsela) region, starting from Aceh Jaya, West Aceh, Nagan Raya, to Southwest Aceh. This visit was used to socialize and have a dialogue with BPS employees regarding the phenomenon of field data and insights that had been conveyed to the local government.

The implementation of the SEP 2024 field on June 1-30, 2024 targeted respondents from agricultural business units including individual agricultural businesses (UTP), legal entity agricultural companies (UPB), and other agricultural businesses (UTL). SEP 2024 aims to collect data on economic aspects, such as income, expenditure, cost structure, and welfare indicators. This data is useful for monitoring the achievement of several agricultural indicators in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
