Thursday, 22 August 2024 – BPS Aceh Province and Lhokseumawe State Polytechnic (PNL) have established strategic cooperation through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The signing was carried out by the Head of BPS Aceh Province, Ahmadriswan Nasution, and the Director of PNL, Rizal Syahyadi. This step is a concrete manifestation of the commitment of both institutions in supporting the development of science and improving the quality of human resources in Aceh.
In his speech, Rizal Syahyadi emphasized that this collaboration is in line with the implementation of the tridharma of higher education which includes education, research and community service. Through this collaboration, it is hoped that collaboration will be realized in various activities such as internships, teaching practitioners, training, and so on.
Ahmadriswan welcomed the PNL initiative and emphasized that the Aceh Province BPS opened opportunities for PNL students and academics to participate in various Aceh Province BPS activities such as the Statistics Corner and National Statistics Day (HSN). He also invited students and academics to play an active role in making data collection a success in society, especially in building public trust in the process and results of the work of BPS Aceh Province.
It is hoped that this collaboration will not only be meaningful and impactful for both parties, but also for the people of Aceh. With a spirit of collaboration, both institutions are committed to being part of the solution in advancing Aceh.
