Wednesday, October 16 2024, Aceh Province BPS held a Wednesday Morning Briefing (BeRaPi) activity in the Teuku Umar Hall, which this time presented the BPS Pusdiklat Widyaiswara, Mohammad Irkham. He shared insights about "Character in Organizational Culture".
In his presentation, Mohammad Irkham explained that a strong organizational culture plays a role in forming strong character and employee integrity. In Islam, the goal of learning is the transfer of character, not just the transfer of knowledge. Good character is an important foundation for achieving progress, both personally and organizationally. He also emphasized the importance of having an open mind in the learning process. "In the concept of learning, when we receive knowledge we apply it in real action," he stressed.
Furthermore, he emphasized that the most effective method of character transfer is through role modeling. The attitudes and actions of a person, especially a leader, can be a real example that is easy for other members to follow, thereby creating positive change throughout the organization.
This session was attended enthusiastically by all employees. Interactive discussions help enrich understanding of the application of character values in daily work culture. Hopefully this lesson can be a guide to improving the quality of performance within the BPS Aceh Province.
