BPK Audit for Goods/Services Procurement Compliance from 2023 to Quarter III 2024 at BPS Aceh

Monday, 21 October 2024 - BPS Aceh Province held an entry meeting event "Compliance Inspection of Procurement of Goods/Services for 2023 to 2023. Quarter III 2024” in the Release Room of the BPS Aceh Office. This event was attended by 7 BPK RI auditors, 1 BPS RI auditor, as well as provincial and district/city BPS financial managers throughout Aceh whose aim was to ensure that every process of procuring goods/services was carried out in accordance with applicable regulations. This activity is part of efforts to increase accountability and transparency in the implementation of BPS technical activities.

In his remarks, the Head of BPS Aceh, Ahmadriswan Nasution, emphasized the importance of accountable and effective administrative management supporting technical activities. He said that good governance in the procurement of goods/services is the key to supporting the achievement of quality BPS programs and activities. Ahmadriswan also appreciated the commitment of BPK RI to always carry out its supervisory and coaching functions, so that the entire procurement process can run transparently and responsibly.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Audit Team from BPK RI, Sapruddin, in his presentation emphasized the importance of administrative audits by the BPK. He explained that this inspection aims to minimize potential irregularities and ensure that every budget expenditure is in accordance with statutory provisions. Sapruddin also highlighted the importance of cooperation from all parties at BPS Aceh in providing the documents and information needed for a smooth audit.
