Monday, November 18 2024, Aceh Province BPS participated in the Aceh One Data Forum Coordination Meeting with the theme "Building with Data, Improving the Quality of Aceh Planning". The event which took place in the 6th Floor Hall, Grand Permata Hati Hotel, Banda Aceh, was attended by M. Alimuddin and Darwis Abubakar as representatives of the Aceh Province BPS Sectoral Statistics Development Team.
This forum is a collaboration between the Aceh Government through Bappeda Aceh, which acts as coordinator of the One Data Forum at the regional level, and SKALA Aceh. The meeting was opened by the Head of Bappeda Aceh, H. Teuku Ahmad Dadek, who emphasized the importance of data management and quality to support better, more effective and sustainable development planning for Aceh.
In this forum, participants from SKPA and district/city Bappeda discussed various important agendas, including understanding the substance of Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 5 of 2024 concerning One Domestic Government Data as well as preparing a draft of the Aceh Government Data List for 2025. There was also an in-depth discussion regarding management of financial data, sectoral statistical data and spatial data through working groups facilitated by UPTD Statistics Diskominsa Aceh.
This event aims to strengthen data governance and improve coordination between stakeholders at the provincial and district/city levels. By prioritizing the spirit of collaboration, it is hoped that One Aceh Data can become the basis for higher quality and more accurate development planning.
