Statistics of Household Expenditure Aceh Province 2017

Publication of Household Expenditure Aceh Province in 2017 provides an overview of the spending and consumption patterns of the Acehnese population. In addition, this publication can also describe the level of nutritional adequacy of the population described in the adequacy of calories and protein.

The results of Susenas March 2017 show that :

 In general, the average caloric consumption of Aceh residents in 2017 has reached the standard adequacy of 2,115 kcal as well as the average consumption of protein has reached a sufficiency standard of 59.63 grams of protein.

 There is an increase in caloric consumption in 2017 compared to 2016. The highest increase in caloric consumption is found in finished food and beverage commodities, reaching 79.41 kcal. Protein consumption also increased compared to the previous year of 4.51 grams.

 The pattern of urban and rural population expenditure has in common, ie greater food expenditure than non-food expenditure. Urban people spend 51.46 percent of their spending on food, while the rural population reaches 63.26 percent by March 2017.

Generally in 2017 there is an increase in average expenditure per capita per month. This happens because of rising commodity prices both food and non-food, so followed by an increase in expenditure.
