Abstract

Early information on consumption players regarding the economic situation, is an important requirement for the government, business world, and the community because it is able to provide an initial signal regarding the forecast economic conditions in the coming months.
Since 1995, the Central Statistics Agency has developed an Early Indicator Monitoring System, one of which is the Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) which is calculated based on the results of the Consumer Tendency Survey (STK) with Jabodetabek coverage. Along with the increasing need for this data, since 2012, in the Province of Aceh the STK sample has been expanded from three districts / cities to five districts / cities.
This Aceh Province ITK publication 2020 explains the discussion of ITK data (quarterly) in Aceh Province, which is supplemented by an explanation of the background, methodology and profile of the sample households and analysis of ITK figures for 2019.
