Farmers Exchange Rate of Aceh Province 2020

The average farmer exchange rate (NTP) of Aceh Province during 2020 was 98.74. Aceh's NTP, which is below 100, indicates that the average NTP in 2020 is no better than 2018 as the base year for calculation.Of the total ten provinces located on the island of Sumatra, Aceh's NTP ranks eighth. Riau Province has the highest NTP reaching 118.77, while the lowest NTP is in Lampung Province with a value of 94.73.When broken down by sub-sector, the average NTP of Horticultural Plants in 2020 was the lowest at 94.94, while the food crop sub-sector was the highest with an NTP value of 99.09. TPR and fisheries subsector NTP, respectively 98.34 and 96.63. NTP of the livestock subsector itself is 97.27.The NTP figure above is a comparison between the Index Paid by Farmers (It) and the Index Paid by Farmers (Ib). The It average during 2020 was recorded at 103.64, while the average Ib was 104.97. The number above 100 shows that since 2018 there has been an increase in prices every year. The price increase that must be paid by farmers is higher than the increase in selling price received by farmers.
