Aceh Province Education Statistics 2024

Education in Aceh Province has shown quite encouraging developments in recent years. Based on data from the 2024 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas), the level of participation in basic education is already very high. The School Participation Rate (APS) for ages 7–12 reached 99.42 percent, and for ages 13–15 it was 97.77 percent. This shows the success of the nine-year compulsory education program. However, at the upper secondary level (ages 16–18), participation decreased to 81.55 percent, indicating challenges in maintaining continuity of education.
