BPS Aceh Province and SMP IT Al Farabi Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Increase Statistical Literacy and Support Pancasila Student Profile
Banda Aceh - BPS Aceh Province is further expanding efforts to increase statistical literacy by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SMP IT Al Farabi Bilingual School on Friday, November 1 2024. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was carried out by the Head of BPS Aceh Province, Ahmadriswan Nasution, and the Head of SMP IT Al Farabi Bilingual School, Siti Kembang Ati, located in the Release Room on the 1st Floor of BPS Aceh Province.
This collaboration focuses on increasing statistical literacy while supporting the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening (P5) Project Program. The scope of cooperation includes educational activities such as seminars, outreach and training. "We hope that this synergy can introduce BPS as a statistical institution that is close to the world of education, as well as increase understanding of statistics among students and teachers," said Ahmadriswan, accompanied by the Head of the General Section of BPS Aceh Province, Tasdik Ilhamudin.
Also present, Syakir Daulay, Education Director of the Aceh Indonesian Humanitarian Committee Foundation, who emphasized Al Farabi IT Middle School's commitment to "educating with love and example" to produce students with graceful character in behavior and excellence in achievement and quality. It is also hoped that this Memorandum of Understanding can strengthen the elements of Pancasila Students who are characterized by faith and piety, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, creativity and critical reasoning. Apart from that, this collaboration will open access to the exchange of statistical data to support educational development in Aceh.
We hope that this strategic collaboration will be a real step in forming a young generation in Aceh that is intelligent, broad-minded and ready to contribute to a prosperous Aceh and a developed Indonesia.
