Aceh Stunting Acceleration Reduction Team Working Meeting

Tuesday, 26 November 2024 – Head of BPS Aceh, Ahmadriswan Nasution, attended a working meeting of the Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team (TPPS) which was chaired directly by Acting. Governor, Mr. Dr. H. Safrizal ZA, M.Sc. which was held at the Aceh Governor's Office. This meeting aims to evaluate the performance of handling stunting throughout 2024 and develop concrete steps to accelerate stunting reduction in Aceh. In the discussion, the participants highlighted the importance of cross-sector synergy to support the realization of "Successful Stunting in 2024." Data and insights from BPS Aceh play a strategic role in measuring the impact of ongoing programs.

The meeting was attended by the Head of Aceh BKKBN Representative and staff as the main stakeholders, UNICEF representatives in Aceh, Heads of related Services, as well as academic experts from the Faculty of Medicine from Syiah Kuala University (USK), Abulyatama University (UNAYA), and Muhammadiyah University of Aceh (UNMUHA). . Together, they developed a long-term roadmap to a stunting-free Aceh, emphasizing continued collaboration and strengthening evidence-based interventions. In his direction, the Governor of Aceh emphasized that all parties must work quickly and on target so that the vision of a stunting-free Aceh can be achieved, not only for the current generation, but also for a healthier and more productive future.
