Aceh Poverty Profile and Expenditure Inequality Level Release September 2024

Head of BPS Aceh Province, Ahmadriswan Nasution, released the Aceh Poverty Profile and Level of Expenditure Inequality in September 2024 (15/1). The percentage of poor people in Aceh Province in September 2024 was recorded at 12.64 percent, down 1.59 percentage points compared to March 2024.

Meanwhile, based on the World Bank's inequality measure, the distribution of population expenditure in Aceh Province in September 2024 for the bottom 40 percent group was recorded at 22.50 percent. This shows that population expenditure in September 2024 in Aceh Province is in the low inequality category.
