Abstract

Consumer perceptions of economic conditions in the third quarter (July-August) 2011 in the province of Aceh is better than the second quarter (May-June) 2011, which is shown by ITK at 107.44.
Perception of the economic conditions that increase was mainly driven by factors influence the rate of inflation with an index value of 111.48 and a good level of consumer spending on food and non-food commodities to the value of the index amounted to 103.12.
ITK good third quarter increased in all provinces of Sumatra and national levels. However, ITK from most provinces in Sumatra in the third quarter of 2011 was still below the national average of 110.24 ITK. ITK value is highest in the Riau province of 112.28, while the lowest in the Aceh province of 107.44.
Consumer perception in Aceh province to estimate the economic conditions in the fourth quarter (September-November) 2011, getting better with an index of 105.19.
Estimated economic condition of consumers in the fourth quarter of 2011 driven by an increase in household income estimates with an index of 107.04. So the impact on the consumers plan to buy durable goods in the fourth quarter as indicated by the index value of 101.34.
Estimated ITK fourth quarter of 2011 increased both in all the provinces of Sumatra and national levels. However, ITK from most provinces in Sumatra also remained below the national average of 108.56. Estimated ITK fourth quarter of 2011 the highest in the province of North Sumatra province of Bangka Belitung and that both have the same value of 108.98. Meanwhile, Aceh province ranked second lowest with a value of 105.19, after West Sumatra with the value of 104.50.
