Human Development Index of Aceh Province 2020

The Human Development Index is one of the benchmarks for overall development performance. This index is built through a three-dimensional approach, namely long and healthy life, knowledge, and a decent living. The indicators that represent these three dimensions are summarized in a single value, namely the Human Development Index (HDI).HDI figures are presented starting at the national, provincial and district / city levels. The presentation of HDI by region allows each province and district / city to know the map of human development in terms of achievement, position, and disparities between regions. So it is hoped that each region can be motivated to strive to improve development performance through increasing the basic capacity of the population and human development.Aceh's HDI figures from 2011 to 2020 show a significant increase. However, these achievements and progress still require serious attention due to the high disparity in development achievements between districts / cities.The publication of the HDI for Aceh Province 2020 contains the achievement figures for Aceh's HDI from 2011 to 2020. The presentation of data and analysis included is aimed at providing an overview of the conditions of Aceh's human development down to the district / city scope.
