Farmer Exchange Rate of Aceh Province 2025

The average Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) for Aceh Province in 2025 was 123.45. Aceh's NTP, which is above 100, indicates that the average NTP in 2025 is better than 2018, the base year for the calculation. Of the ten provinces on the island of Sumatra, Aceh's NTP ranks ninth. Bengkulu Province has the highest NTP, at 202.69.
When broken down by subsector, the average NTP for livestock in 2025 was the lowest at 97.66, while the smallholder plantation subsector had the highest, at 159.90. The NTPs for the food crops, horticulture, and fisheries subsectors were 103.44, 99.87, and 113.49, respectively.
The NTP figures above represent the ratio of the Farmer Received Index (It) to the Farmer Paid Index (Ib). The average It for 2025 was recorded at 149.02, while the average Ib was 120.70. Figures above 100 indicate that prices have increased annually since 2018. The increase in selling prices received by farmers is higher than the increase in prices paid by farmers.
