Cooperation between BPS and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan

Banda Aceh (14/09) - BPS Aceh collaborated with BPJS Banda Aceh to provide Social Employment Insurance for 2,054 PL-KUMKM (Complete Data Collection of Cooperatives and MSMEs) census officers over a 2-month period.

The officers from 15 districts/municipalities are registered in two BPJAMSOSTEK programs, namely Work Accident Insurance (JKK) and Death Insurance (JK).

Head of BPS Aceh, Ahmadriswan Nasution said that this activity is one part of improving welfare, namely providing certainty to census officers who will work in the field when experiencing work accidents or death later.

The signing of the cooperation was carried out between the Head of BPJAMSOSTEK Banda Aceh Office Syarifah Wan Fatimah and PPK BPS Aceh, Mr. Reza Rezki Pulungan and witnessed by the Head of BPS Aceh, Ahmadriswan Nasution on September 15, 2023 at the BPS Aceh Office.

Head of BPJAMSOSTEK Banda Aceh Office Syarifah Wan Fatimah hopes that after the implementation of the PL-KUMKM (Complete Data Collection of Cooperatives and MSMEs) census, the census officers will still be protected by labor social security. This is because the amount of the cost of overcoming or the impact due to accidents or death is greater than the contributions paid.
