Tuesday, June 25 2024, BPS Aceh and the Banda Aceh School of Information and Computer Management (STMIK) made new history by signing a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation Agreement in the T Nyak Arief Room, 2nd Floor of BPS Aceh Province. The signing was carried out by the Head of BPS Aceh, Ahmadriswan Nasution, and the Head of STMIK Banda Aceh, Lukman Ahmad, and witnessed by both staff.
On this occasion, Lukman Ahmad emphasized the importance of collaboration between the world of education and industry to achieve success. He stated that STMIK Banda Aceh and BPS Aceh have similarities in managing data and information. STMIK operates in the field of information technology by utilizing data and information, while BPS's practical expertise in this field is expected to enrich the insight and skills of the STMIK Banda Aceh academic community.
Ahmadriswan appreciated STMIK Banda Aceh's strategic steps in initiating this collaboration. He said that this collaboration was an important step to grow together and provide broad benefits to society. BPS Aceh is committed to providing statistical data and information to support development actors, including STMIK Banda Aceh which plays a role in education.
Ahmadriswan also hopes that this collaboration can strengthen the digitalization process, both internally and externally, as well as expand the use of statistical data and information.
