Aceh Economy Quarter II 2024 Grows 4.54%

Head of the Aceh Province Central Statistics Agency, Ahmadriswan Nasution, released the Aceh Economic Growth Figures for the Second Quarter of 2024 (5/8) which was attended by representatives of Aceh Government Officials, Mr. Aznal Zahri as Head of the Aceh Gampong Community Empowerment Service (DPMG).

In the second quarter of 2024, Aceh's economy grew by 4.54 percent (year-on-year) and was supported by fairly stable domestic economic activity.

In terms of the business sector, the main contributors to Economic Growth in the Second Quarter of 2024 are Financial Services, Mining and Quarrying, and Transportation.

Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, consumption by non-profit institutions serving households (LNPRT), gross fixed capital formation (PMTB) and government consumption are the largest contributors to economic growth.
