Tuesday, 22 October 2024 - BPS Aceh again demonstrated its achievements through three awards in the Aceh TREFA Awards (ATA) for Fiscal Year 2024 which was organized by the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (Kanwil DJPb) Aceh. The coordination meeting and awarding event was held at the State Finance Building in Banda Aceh with the main focus of strengthening synergy between government agencies in implementing an accountable budget and providing a real impact for the people of Aceh. The Aceh TREFA Awards are part of the strategic role of the Regional Office of DJPb and KPPN as Treasury, Regional Economist and Financial Advisor (TREFA) in managing the state budget effectively.
The Head of BPS Aceh, Ahmadriswan Nasution, directly received three awards handed over by the Head of the Aceh DJPb Regional Office, Izharul Haq. These awards include:
(a) Ministry/Institution in the Medium category with the 3rd best budget implementation performance;
(b) Ministry/Institution in the Large category with the 3rd best UAPPAW Financial Report; And
(c) Collaborative Stakeholder TREFA Work Partners.
This award is proof of BPS Aceh's consistency in managing the budget transparently and accountably, as well as in establishing strong cross-sector collaboration.
In his speech, Izharul Haq emphasized the important role of the APBN in providing the best impact on the welfare of society, especially in Aceh. He emphasized that the TREFA role carried out by the DJPb Regional Office and KPPN aims to ensure optimal budget management throughout Indonesia. Meanwhile, the Head of the Aceh Province BPK, Triyantoro, in his presentation, emphasized the importance of accountability, more effective budget spending (better spending), as well as implementing good governance to ensure the budget truly contributes to the development and welfare of the Acehnese people.
