Head of BPS Aceh Attends Field Assessment of Statistics Study Program Accreditation, FMIPA USK

Monday, February 3, 2025 – Head of the Aceh Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Ahmadriswan Nasution, attended the Field Assessment of the Accreditation of the Undergraduate Statistics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Syiah Kuala University (USK). His presence was part of an effort to strengthen the synergy between the academic world and the need for professional statistical personnel in Aceh.

In his remarks, Ahmadriswan emphasized the importance of the role of USK Statistics Study Program alumni in fulfilling the need for human resources at BPS Aceh. In addition to mastering statistical techniques, he also highlighted the importance of soft skills in exploring insights and compiling analyses that can support the formulation of data-based policies. He added that collaboration between BPS and USK must continue to be strengthened, especially in building sectoral statistics through increasing statistical literacy and developing data infrastructure. With close synergy, it is hoped that the quality and utilization of data in Aceh's development will be increasingly optimal.
