Head of BPS Aceh Attends Re-Accreditation of Doctoral Program in Economics Study Program, USK

Thursday, March 13, 2025 - Head of BPS-Statistics of Aceh Province, Ahmadriswan Nasution, also attended the Re-Accreditation Assessment of Doctoral Program in Economics at Syiah Kuala University (USK), led by LAMEMBA assessor, Prof. Dr. Amir Machfud, S.E., M.Sc., from the Indonesian Education University. This activity was also attended by academics, professors of economics in Aceh, and stakeholders who use alumni. The presence of BPS-Statistics of Aceh Province shows its commitment to supporting academic strengthening and ensuring the quality of graduates who are ready to contribute to regional development.

In addition, two alumni of this doctoral program, namely the Head of BPS-Statistics of Nagan Raya Regency, Dr. Nuri Rosmika, and the Head of BPS-Statistics of Gayo Lues, Dr. Azwar, also joined online. The discussion was dynamic, discussing the synergy between academics and practitioners in developing data-based policies. Ahmadriswan emphasized the importance of the role of statistics in economic research and strategic decision-making for Aceh's development.
