Abstract

Consumer perceptions of economic conditions in the fourth quarter of 2012 in the province of Aceh stated condition index value of 106.62 optimistic.

Consumer confidence in the economic outlook in the fourth quarter of 2012 remained driven by factors of increasing household income (index 101.25), followed by the inflation rate is less influential (index 120.17) as well as the level of household consumption for food and non-food commodities increased (index 102.53).

Consumers in Aceh Province staring forecast economic conditions in the first quarter of 2013 are optimistic with ITK Estimated value of 105.01.

Estimates of the economic conditions of consumer optimism in the first quarter of 2013 driven by household income estimates were increased (index 104.53) and the planned purchase of durable goods also increased (index 105.88).

Consumer perceptions of economic conditions in the fourth quarter of 2012 showed optimism at the national level (index 108.63). However, the perception of consumers in the province of Aceh along with consumer West Sumatra, Jambi and Lampung classified under the average consumer optimism at the National level.
Consumer perception of looking at the economic conditions in the first quarter of 2013 also showed optimism at the national level. However, consumer confidence in Aceh Province and five other provinces in Sumatra classified under the average national consumer optimism (index 107.80).
