Abstract

Up to subround II (January-August) in 2013, has been realized rice harvested area of 282.59 thousand hectares, with an estimated total production of about 1.30 million tonnes of paddy. Rice production in the period January-August 2013 decreased by 2.88 percent compared to production in the same period in 2012.

From Figures Forecast II, in 2013 is expected to be realized rice harvested area of 423.86 thousand hectares, with an estimated production of 1.968 million tonnes of rice paddy, which means an increase of 10.05 percent compared to production in 2012

In 2013, based on figures forecast II is expected to be realized harvested area of corn and soybean respectively by 45.40 thousand hectares and 35 thousand hectares.
